& EQUITY IN TECH

EVERYONE WAS BORN TO BE GREAT
People rise and fall to meet your level of expectations for them. If you express skepticism and doubt in others, they will return your lack of confidence with mediocrity. But if you believe in them and expect them to do well, they will go the extra mile trying to do their best.
— John C Maxwell, Author, Speaker, Pastor

aboutus
We advocate for diversity in STEM and encourage economic empowerment by educating, equipping, and exposing people from marginalized communities to the jobs and businesses of the future through STEM events and programming.
Why We Do What We Do
Black and Hispanic Americans are twice as likely to be adversely impacted by the disruption of automation technologies such as artificial intelligence, autonomous devices, and the Internet of Things as counterparts of other races and cultures. Over 50% of all service based jobs are occupied by African Americans, though they only comprise 13% of the population in the United States. This disparity presents a mounting concern in an already wide gap in income, wealth, and economic opportunity.
